State Pharmaceuticals Corporation Vacancies - Assistant Legal Officer (Assignment Basis)
The State Pharmaceuticals Corporation was established in 1971 under the State Industrial Corporations Act Number 49 of 1957. This far-sighted decision was the result of the report submitted by Prof. Senaka Bibile and Dr.S.A. Wickramasinghe report (March 1971) based on an assignment given to them by the then Prime Minister, Mrs. Sirimavo Bandaranaike.
The State Pharmaceuticals Corporation (SPC) of Sri Lanka is a state-owned enterprise that serves as the sole importer of pharmaceuticals and medical devices for government hospitals and a leading importer and distributor for the private sector, aiming to provide quality-assured healthcare items at affordable prices.
