POSTS OF CIVIL SUPERINTENDENT & TECHNICAL MATE on Contract Basis for 02 Years 
Applications invited from citizens of Sri Lanka having the following qualifications and experience in power sector or other industrial construction projects 

 

The CCEYLON ELECTRICITY BOARD is inviting applications from qualified professionals for the following positions :

 

◾ Civil Superintendent (02 Vacancies)

• Salary Scale : EL2 - Initial Salary Step of Civil Superintendent, CEB Salary Structure.
• Age Limit : 18 – 30 years
• Qualifications :
  • Shall have one of the following educational qualifications in the Civil Engineering stream National Diploma in Technology (NDT) of National Diploma in Engineering Science (NDES) or Diploma in Technology Open University of Sri Lanka or Higher National Diploma in Engineering (HNDE) or National Certificate Certi in Technology (NCT) with 5 years post qualifying experience in relevant field. 
  • Experience on construction of roads. Wind power development projects. Substations and High voltage transmission lines will be an added qualification.
  • Should be able to work in English and Sinhala or/and Tamil. Ability to work & communicate in Tamil language will be an added qualification. 
  • Preference will be given to applicants residing in Mannar. Anuradhapura. Putralam Districts or Northern Province 

 

◾ Technical Mate (03 Vacancies)

• Salary Scale : EN5 - Initial Salary Step of Junior Technical Mate, CEB Salary 
  Strucnire.
• Age Limit : 18 – 25 years
• Qualifications :
  • Shall have six (6) Passes in G.CE(O/L) Examination including mathematics and mother language in a single attempt or shall have National Vocational Qualification Level 3 (NVQ-3) or above certification in civil, electrical or mechanical fields such 
    National Certificate Electrician (household industrial), National Certificate. Electric Motor Winder. National Certificate Pneumatic Technician. National Certificate - Electronic Appliances Technician etc. 
  • The above qualifications shall be obtained through affiliated institute under Ministry of Education, Higher Education and Vocational Training 
  • Should be able to work in English, Sinhala, or/Tamil. Ability to work & communicate in the Tamil language will be an added qualification. 
  • Preference will be given to applicants residing in Mannar, Anuradhapura, Puttalam Districts or Northern Province possessing National Vocational Qualification Level 4 (NVQ-4) as above. 

 

• Vacancies Selection Process - By an interview 

•  Application Must be Filled in English

•  Closing Date - 2025-03-28

 

⁕ The appointment will be on a contract basis for a period of 02 years.

⁕  The workplace is in the Northern Province..

⁕  Candidates should be able to work at the project site in Northern Province for extended hours.
